My broken hard drive and all the data on it is gone.

I'll live.

I'm back, but incredibly discouraged. I can't apologize enough for the delay in the contest, but right now I don't have the heart to draw much of anything. All of my fanfics are gone as well, and I don't know if I even want to start writing them again.

Time will tell.

I had 300+ new messages, so I just deleted them all when I logged in again. If you had anything you want me to see, send me it in a note or reply to this topic. If you drew me any fanart/contest entries or anything I haven't fav'd yet, send them my way.

Again, I'm really, really sorry for my absence.

This is all I got left of old 90s PBS stuff. I am completely missing anything from the 2000s, which saddens me as I distinctly recall recording a show or two at the time. And unfortunately, it seems due to a messup on the VCR's part, all of this stuff recorded without sound. And I tried switching the VCR to linear audio (as opposed to hi-fi) with no success, and even tried an entire second VCR with the same luck. The CC works but I haven't checked this tape in a while so I can't remember what any of it said.

On a lighter note, I think this is physically the oldest tape as far as PBS stuff goes. This is the only stuff I have that goes as far back as 1996. I imagine my sister was too young at the time and didn't quite operate the VCR right (or my parents may have not, who knows), which is probably why these lack sound.

The first few things before we reach Arthur was another Big Comfy Couch/Wimzie's House break. The second batch was between Arthur and The Magic School Bus. The episode of Arthur was Arthur and the Crunch Cereal Contest/D.W. Flips, and since I'm sure some people will want to know, the MSB episode was Rocks and Rolls.

Stuff on this tape:

~ Dallas Family magazine sponsor tag
~ KERA-13 Blimp ident
~ Arthur online/library bumpers
~ Arthur Season 1 credits
~ Funding (the original...oh my gosh I'm so mad I have the rare original fundings without any sound...not only that, I also have a rare shortened version of the Polaroid credit that I don't think I've seen anywhere!)
~ JCPenney local funding credit
~ Bill Nye promo
~ Wishbone promo
~ Kratts' Creatures promo
~ "It's all how you look at it" -- Sprinkler (bet you guys didn't know this one dated to this far back!)
~ "The Game" ident
~ The Magic School Bus funding

Obviously, I can easily find most of the audio for these around the Internet. If you guys want I can try to make a "corrected" version with the audio spliced back into as many of these I can find. Currently, the ones I positively can't find audio for:

~ The Dallas Family magazine sponsor tag
~ The Arthur Polaroid credit
~ The Wishbone promo (it's a bit extended compared to the one VCRchivist has)
~ The Kratts Creatures promo

If any of you can find these...even if all you can do is record from your cell phone from the TV, I would be UNBELIEVABLY GRATEFUL if you could help me out. I would greatly appreciate it!

And again, I repeat -- this is the LAST of old PBS stuff I have. I have absolutely nothing beyond this, barring the very rare chance I run into a tape at a thrift store with any more on it or I find any friends or family who have more. So, do not ask for any more.
