Description

ʻO - A subject-marking particle.
ʻĀnela - Angel (from english).
Koʻu - A form of my.
Inoa - Name.

ʻO ʻĀnela koʻu inoa - My name is Angel.

The Hawaiian language only has 18 letters, so converting foreign language words and names to Hawaiian is tricky. It's done by spelling it with the Hawaiian letters that sound closest to the original pronunciation. ʻĀnela is one of these loan words.

It would be cute if Stitch would call Angel Kuʻu ʻĀnela (Ku'u is the affectionate form of my, as in Kuʻu ipo).
