This is actually a bit old (I made it in the summer), but I felt like uploading something before I left for my weekend trip to Maine.

This is Kairi's lucky charm (and the keychain from the "oathkeeper" keyblade) from Kingdom Hearts. I made a set of three, one for myself, one for my boyfriend, and one for a close friend of ours. Unfortunately, the cat ate mine, so there's only two of them now. My boyfriend just got done playing KH2 that week, but he didn't frickin know what it was when I gave it to him. Thanks for screwing up my sweet gesture.

It is made out of modeling foam "painted" with prismacolor markers (it has blue-green stripes on the back), tied together with embroidery thread, and covered with a spray-on lacquer. Unfortunately, the lacquer made the colors bleed all over the place and stained the string, which I decided to spray too in order to help it keep it's shape. After it was dried in done, I drew on the Sora face with brown and black sharpie and super-glued on the crown cut out of craft foam. Finally, I braided more thread for the keychain, and tied on a blade of fake grass (i had to cut it to shape) as the leaf.

I'm satisfied with it, but there were a lot of screw-ups along the way. It's also a bit not-waterproof, something which I hope to fix in the next batch.

Yes, that's MY hand. Check out my creepy long fingernails. And my palm scar! There's a matching one on the other hand.

I plan on making more in the future, a 2.0 design which will probably be better, since a few of my friends want me to make more so they can buy them from me. I most likely won't sell them to anybody I don't know or can't drive to.
